This policy explains what personal information Thukral Foods collects when you visit www.thukralfoods.com or buy from us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

When you order: your name, mobile number, email address, delivery and billing address, what you bought, and any gift message.
When you log in: your mobile number, which we verify with a one-time password.
When you contact us: what you write to us by the contact form, email, WhatsApp or phone, and any photos you send, for example of a damaged parcel.
When you browse: technical information such as your IP address, device, browser, the pages you visit and how you arrived, collected with cookies and similar tools.

We do not see or store your card, UPI or net banking details. Payments are handled directly by our payment partners.

Why we use it

To take, pack, deliver and support your orders, including replacements and refunds.
To reply to your questions and complaints.
To prevent fraud and keep the website secure.
To keep the records the law requires, such as tax (GST) records.
To understand how the website is used and improve it.
With your consent, to send you offers and news by email, SMS or WhatsApp. You can stop these at any time with the unsubscribe link or by telling us.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with the companies that help us run the shop, and they may use it only for that work:

Shopify, which hosts our online store;
GoKwik, which runs our checkout, login and customer messages;
payment gateways and banks, to take payment and make refunds;
courier partners, to deliver your order;
analytics and advertising services, to measure visits and show our ads.

We may also share information when the law requires it, for example with government authorities. We do not sell your personal information.

Some of these companies may store information on servers outside India. When that happens, it stays protected as the law requires.

Cookies

Cookies help the website remember your cart and login, and help us understand how it is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the website, such as the cart, may then not work properly.

How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as we need it for the purposes above, and as long as the law requires, for example for tax and accounting records. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect it

We use reasonable security practices to protect your information, and our partners are required to do the same. No system is completely secure, but if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to:

tell you what personal information we hold about you and who we have shared it with;
correct, complete or update it;
delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it;
withdraw a consent you have given, such as for marketing messages;
let someone you nominate use these rights for you if you die or cannot act yourself.

To use any of these rights, write to our Grievance Officer (below). We may need to confirm who you are first.

Children

Our website is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please use it only with a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect information from children without that consent.
